Mission

Being a Production Manager with us means leveraging your leadership, organizational skills, and ability to mobilize teams to optimize production efficiency while meeting quality, health and safety standards, and performance objectives.

As a Production Manager, you will work closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, improve processes, and maximize overall department performance.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Lead production operations and ensure adherence to production plans with optimal workforce levels;
  • Monitor production management systems (KPIs, variance reports, dashboards, work instructions, etc.);
  • Analyze key performance indicators and implement improvement actions;
  • Ensure the effectiveness of operational meetings (shift start, transitions, performance reviews, etc.);
  • Ensure proper operation and optimal use of equipment (preventive and predictive maintenance);
  • Implement value-added production methods (VAP);
  • Supervise and develop the supervisory team and production staff;
  • Participate in employee recruitment, training, and development;
  • Develop and monitor performance management plans;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards;
  • Manage disciplinary situations when required;
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, process optimization);
  • Propose and implement initiatives aimed at improving safety, quality, and productivity;
  • Ensure production budgets are met (labor, non-quality, supplies);
  • Act as a technical reference for internal teams (industrial engineering, maintenance, quality, etc.);
  • Promote and enforce health and safety rules;
  • Participate in multidisciplinary projects;
  • Maintain a positive, engaging, and respectful work environment.


Profile

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

  • A DEC or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong team management experience and positive leadership skills;
  • Good knowledge of ISO standards;
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (VAP, Kaizen);
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  • Strong human resources management skills;
  • Good knowledge of occupational health and safety;
  • Intermediate bilingualism (French and English);
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Good judgment and autonomy;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • An innovative, solution-oriented mindset;
  • The ability to work effectively in a team.
