The Role:

Entegris Site in Bedford, MA is seeking for Production Engineer to join our team.

The Entegris site in Bedford, MA is currently seeking a talented and innovative Production Engineer who will sustain manufacturing processes and product quality assurance activities. Lead continuous improvement projects to drive safety, process efficiency, and reduce product variation. This new hire will work closely with various business functions to support manufacturing processes and resolve customer product quality inquiries.

What You'll Do:

Manufacturing & Process Excellence

  • Sustain manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.


  • Drive improvements in safety, yield, throughput, cost, and process capability through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.


  • Support equipment troubleshooting by providing guidance and hands-on assistance to remedy and correct issues.


  • Support growth through capacity equipment and process qualifications.


Quality & Compliance

  • Own product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from incoming materials through finished goods.


  • Maintain process controls, risk management tools, and quality systems, including SPC, FMEAs, and Control Plans.


  • Support customer, regulatory, and ISO audits while ensuring compliance with quality and change control requirements.


Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead root cause investigations for manufacturing and quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.


  • Reduce process variation through statistical analysis, process control strategies, and engineering solutions.


  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to improve reliability, quality, and operational performance.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Leadership

  • Partner with Operations, Customer and Supplier Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to achieve business objectives.


  • Support new product introductions, process transfers, scale-ups, and releases to manufacturing.


  • Develop process documentation, work instructions, and operator training programs.


  • Serve as a technical expert for manufacturing processes, metrology systems, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, or similar related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
