We offer

An exciting role where you will be responsible for providing engineering support for laboratory testing activities related to new product development, material evaluation, product certification, quality assurance, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position plays a critical role in ensuring products, materials, and components perform as intended and meet both internal requirements and external standards.

You will work closely with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, and external partners to plan and execute testing programs, evaluate product performance, investigate technical issues, and provide data-driven recommendations that support engineering and business decisions.

You will be based at our site in Greenwood South Carolina, where you will be part of a friendly and engaged team.

Key Responsibilities

The Product Testing Engineer develops and executes laboratory test programs for new products, product modifications, materials, and components. This includes defining test requirements, conducting testing activities, analyzing results, and communicating findings through technical reports and recommendations.

The role supports product development and validation efforts by evaluating product performance under real-world and simulated conditions, helping ensure designs meet customer expectations, quality requirements, and certification standards.

The successful candidate will also contribute to new material approvals, incoming material evaluations, and manufacturing support activities.

This role also facilitates project planning and execution, helping deliver innovative solutions and drive continuous product improvement.

You will be responsible for developing, improving, and validating laboratory test methods, specifications, and procedures while supporting efforts to expand internal testing and certification capabilities. This includes participating in the design, specification, implementation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, fixtures, and specialized test systems.

Working within cross-functional project teams, the Product Testing Engineer will contribute to root cause investigations, product and process improvements, quality initiatives, and cost-reduction projects.

The role requires balancing multiple priorities while ensuring testing activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Who we are looking for

You bring strong analytical capabilities and enjoy solving technical challenges through a combination of practical testing and engineering judgment.

Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, technical standards, and test data is essential.

The ideal candidate is curious, hands-on, and motivated by understanding how products perform in real-world conditions. You are comfortable working across disciplines, managing multiple priorities, and communicating technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience supporting product validation, certification testing, materials evaluation, or continuous improvement initiatives would be advantageous.
