The Opportunity

As a Product Supply Strategy Leader (Senior Director level), you will serve as the core driver of end-to-end supply chain design and resilience across the entire product lifecycle, with a particular focus on late-stage development through new product launches. Operating at an enterprise level, you will lead high-performing, cross-functional matrix teams to translate complex disease area visions into actionable, risk-managed execution plans that deliver business value.

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of cross-functional product strategy teams spanning technical, finance, supply chain, regulatory, and manufacturing departments.

  • Design and implement resilient, end-to-end supply chains from late-stage development through the global launch of new products and line extensions.

  • Translate complex disease area and product visions into concrete, actionable execution plans and overarching strategic objectives.

  • Direct high-impact investment proposals by prioritizing key product supply initiatives based on timeline, cost, and overall business value.

  • Manage ongoing product health by continuously overseeing supply resilience, process robustness, and sustainability KPIs.

  • Integrate external customer insights and global competitive landscape trends to actively shape lifecycle and disease area strategies.

  • Predict strategic decision implications while managing holistic end-to-end risks and supporting long-range planning with assumption-driven forecast scenarios.

Who You Are
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the life sciences, engineering, or business disciplines.

  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of multi-disciplinary work experience in the pharma/biotech industry, featuring a broad understanding of manufacturing and technical operations.

  • Leadership Track Record: 7+ years of experience in senior people management or senior matrix team leadership, with a proven ability to coach and develop the next generation of leaders.

  • Technical Expertise: Proven success in designing, implementing, and evolving product supply chain strategies, specifically with new product launches and/or line extensions (exposure to biologic, synthetic molecule, or device supply chains is beneficial).

  • Business Acumen: Strong ability to understand market access, disease areas, and demand-side volume drivers (experience in strategic areas like oncology, neuroscience, or immunology is a plus).

  • Global Mindset: Strong preference for international or global team experience, paired with the ability to travel globally approximately 10% or lower.

  • Soft Skills: A strategic thinker and persuasive communicator who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing holistic risks, building global trust, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $197,700 - $367,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this .
