DescriptionProduct Specialist - Construction Equipment ABOUT THE ROLEThe Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the lifecycle of construction equipment products through market research, competitive analysis, product planning, dealer support, and new product launches. This role works closely with Engineering, Sales, Service, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure products meet customer needs and market requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct market research and competitive product analysis.
- Support product planning, new product introductions, and product launches.
- Develop product specifications, sales tools, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and product training to dealers and internal teams.
- Gather customer and dealer feedback to drive product improvements.
- Support pricing analysis and product positioning.
- Operate and evaluate heavy construction equipment during product testing, demonstrations, and field validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or the construction equipment industry.
- Hands-on operating experience with heavy construction equipment (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, telehandlers, or rollers) is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
