Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Product Security Engineers (Level 4) for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
- 2+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
- Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
- Experience in Ada coding for safety critical systems
- Experience with embedded software in C/C++
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThis position includes the opportunity to integrate new architectures and key security and control features using client-designed hardware and other COTS hardware/software. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
- Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 9+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
- 5+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
- 1+ years of experience with lifecycle configuration management tools (GitLab) & utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
- Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
- Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
- Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper
- Experience in Python in automation
- Experience in unit testing
- Knowledge in cryptography
REQUIRED EDUCATIONMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
