OverviewThe Product Owner owns the executable Salesforce backlog and manages delivery scope across CRM, Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related platform capabilities. Reporting to the Technology Platform Manager, this role translates approved business priorities into buildable, testable, supportable platform work.
Old National99s Salesforce team runs on a product operating model 9999an empowered product team in which the Product Owner owns the problem end-to-end, from discovery through delivery. This means the PO owns requirements, acceptance criteria, and analysis directly rather than handing those to a separate business-analyst function 9999 a deliberate departure from a role-per-function delivery model. Candidates should expect to own the whole problem, not a single stage of it.
The Product Owner does not replace the Business Product Manager. The Business Product Manager owns business value, adoption, and roadmap priorities; the Product Owner owns backlog execution, delivery sequencing, and release readiness within Technology. Success in this role depends on strong facilitation, clear requirements, and disciplined tradeoff decisions across priority, capacity, risk, and dependencies.
