Full Job Description
As a Product Owner at United Wholesale Mortgage, you will partner closely with IT teams, business leaders, and end users to ensure our products deliver maximum value to both internal and external clients. You will align your work with the product vision and goals, translate business needs into actionable work, and drive delivery through the development lifecycle.

This Product Owner will be working directly with Senior Leadership within our Marketing Team, executing client-facing email marketing campaigns.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have:
  • 4+ years of experience in IT as Product Owner or Business Analyst
  • 2+ years of experience working within Salesforce platform
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies for all roles
  • Experience using Jira or similar work tracking platform
  • Advanced listening and facilitation abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work 100% on-site in Pontiac, Michigan


Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or related field
  • Advanced Agile certification and/or scaling certification
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provides direction to the team and stakeholders based on product vision and strategic goals
  • Integrates diverse perspectives into the product development process
  • Collaborates and negotiates trade-offs and priorities with Product Manager and stakeholders to create and manage the Epic backlog and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Keeps teams informed on progress, deployment timelines, and updates
  • Writes epics that articulate clear, incremental business value
  • Owns prioritization of the story backlog
  • Approves stories and acceptance criteria based on requirements for development readiness
  • Completes User Acceptance Testing to progress stories in the deployment process
  • Communicates comprehensive progress to stakeholders throughout the development cycle
  • Creates and maintains the current and future-state business processes and user workflows
  • Serves as key translator and advocate between business and technology teams
  • Leads stakeholder demos, including capturing feedback and facilitating discussion
  • Analyzes team interactions to identify barriers to collaboration and promotes solutions that enhance communication, efficiency, project outcomes, and team dynamics
  • Integrates user research and market analysis into the product development lifecycle
