Full Job Description
Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Lead Product Marketing Manager, this remote role supports Veracity's suite of sales-assisted programs - starting with the product liability risk family including nutraceuticals, cannabis, and beauty/cosmetics, along with developing restaurant and medspa segments.

This role primarily supports Veracity's in-house agency and its sales-assisted quoting and binding process for higher-complexity programs that require producer-level expertise. This role bears responsibility for ensuring the agency has the positioning, competitive intelligence, and enablement resources needed to generate and qualify leads, convert quotes into bound policies, and serves as product marketing's primary liaison into agency leadership on program performance and pipeline health.

Key Responsibilities

Vertical Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing market research specific to the product liability risk family - tracking regulatory shifts, underwriting appetite changes, and competitive positioning across nutraceuticals, cannabis, beauty/cosmetics, and developing restaurant and medspa segments
  • Monitor competitor program offerings, pricing structures, and coverage terms within these verticals and translate findings into actionable positioning guidance
  • Partner with underwriting and program stakeholders to maintain a current, accurate understanding of program features, exclusions, and appetite shifts as they occur

Agency Sales Enablement

  • Build and maintain positioning briefs, objection handling guides, competitive battlecards, and program guidelines that equip agency producers to sell across assigned programs
  • Partner with agency leadership to identify enablement gaps and prioritize new resources based on pipeline impact
  • Train and support agency producers on new program launches, coverage changes, and positioning updates

Pipeline & Performance Reporting

  • Regularly report to stakeholders on quote-to-bind performance by sub-program, including analysis of drivers behind wins and losses
  • Build and maintain the lead scoring framework and execution in partnership with sales agents and the CRM administrator
  • Track and report on agency producer adoption of enablement materials and their impact on bind rate
  • Assist resource managers and stakeholders in using pipeline and performance data to shape future enablement priorities

Cross-Functional Agency Liaison

  • Serve as product marketing's primary point of contact into agency leadership on program performance, pipeline health, and enablement needs
  • Coordinate with Marketing leaders and resource managers to ensure channel strategies appropriately support the agency's sales-assisted process
  • Escalate agency feedback on program gaps, competitive threats, or positioning issues to the appropriate Marketing and Product stakeholders

Forecasting & Business Case Development

  • Assist stakeholders and executives in developing program-level performance forecasts using pipeline data, historical bind trends, and forward-looking market signals
  • Build business cases for new enablement investments or program expansions within the assigned vertical

New Program Handoff & Launch Support

  • Oversee smooth handoffs of new or evolving programs within the product liability risk family from the New Product Development team to the agency and sales-enablement function
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between sales-assisted programs and the online programs division
  • Personally create and represent Initiative Success Plans for enablement-related efforts, outlining resource needs, expected returns, and success metrics

Stakeholder Feedback & Resourcing

  • Provide feedback, insights, and recommendations to department leadership, resource managers, and agency leadership on resourcing challenges, prioritization, and operational needs specific to sales-assisted programs
  • Adopt the Objectives and Key Results framework for goal-setting and reporting consistent with the broader PMM team and marketing department
  • Attend the annual Marketing Department offsite and select other in-person events as requested
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or a closely related role - ideally with exposure to agency, broker, or producer-based distribution models
  • Working knowledge of positioning and sales enablement within a sales-assisted, producer-facing distribution model in addition to standard product marketing channels
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex program and coverage detail into producer-ready sales language
  • Proven ability to build trust and alignment with agency leadership and producers who are not direct reports
  • Ability to track and interpret regulatory shifts and underwriting appetite changes across higher-risk specialty verticals
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sub-programs and shifting regulatory landscapes without losing prioritization
  • Ability to translate market and pipeline data into enablement resources that move bind rate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, CRM and agency management systems, and analytics platforms
  • Insurance industry experience preferred - specialty/E&S or regulated-vertical experience in cannabis, nutraceuticals, beauty/cosmetics, or similar a plus

Perks

  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Amazing work-life balance with 4 weeks of Paid Time Off
  • 10 Paid Company Holidays with 2 floating holidays
  • 401K Programs with employer match
  • Personal assistance programs for support in a healthy personal and work life
