Position Summary
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a commercially minded and execution-focused Product Marketing Manager to drive growth across our stationary metrology portfolio, with a particular emphasis on aftermarket opportunities, installed-base expansion, customer lifecycle engagement, and market development initiatives.
This role serves as a key connector between Product Management, Sales, Service, Applications, Regional Marketing teams, and customers. The Product Marketing Manager will build and maintain insight loops that capture customer and stakeholder feedback, identify market opportunities and barriers to adoption, and translate those insights into messaging, enablement programs, campaign concepts, and content initiatives that support business growth.
Unlike a traditional product-launch-focused Product Marketing role, this position is primarily focused on strengthening customer engagement throughout the ownership lifecycle, expanding awareness and adoption of aftermarket offerings, supporting modernization and upgrade opportunities, and helping customers view Hexagon as a trusted long-term partn
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial execution skills with an understanding of industrial manufacturing environments and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer-focused narratives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, commercial marketing, product management, customer success, aftermarket marketing, or related roles.
Ideally, eExperience marketing industrial technology, manufacturing solutions, metrology equipment, automation systems, software, or related B2B technologies.
Experience developing customer-focused marketing programs, sales enablement initiatives, and growth campaigns.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
Experience gathering and translating customer and stakeholder insights into marketing actions and business recommendations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
Experience working within global matrix organizations and collaborating across regions.
Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity, content, and research tools.
Ideally eExperience within metrology, quality inspection, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), industrial automation, precision manufacturing, or manufacturing software.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, digital twins, and quality management processes.
Ideally eExperience supporting aftermarket, service, upgrade, modernization, or installed-base growth programs.
