Full Job Description
The Product Marketing Manager will lead the coordination and execution of Payworks' product launches, feature releases, and major updates, ensuring they reach the market on time, with organizational readiness and measurable business impact. Acting as a conduit between Product, Marketing and Sales, you will turn product information, customer needs, and market insights into clear messaging, actionable plans, and coordinated deliverables.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will lead launch kickoffs and manage timelines and stakeholder accountabilities while also rolling up your sleeves to execute on key deliverables. You'll excel in this role if you are an exceptionally organized and accountable self-starter who communicates proactively, manages competing priorities and stakeholder expectations, and brings people together around a shared plan.

BRING PRODUCTS TO MARKET - IT'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

Launch Plans & Project Management

+ Own the end-to-end market launch-from kickoff and planning through sales and organizational readiness, market release, and post-launch transition-ensuring all required activities and deliverables are completed.

+ Apply Payworks' launch and readiness frameworks to product launches, feature releases, and major updates, tailoring activities based on scope, audience, complexity, and impact.

+ Lead launch alignment sessions, confirm stakeholders and responsibilities, and ensure deliverables are clearly assigned across contributing teams.

+ Own and maintain launch management documents, keeping timelines, deliverables, dependencies, decisions, risks, and status updates accurate and visible.

Positioning, Messaging & GTM Foundations

+ Own and refine product positioning, value propositions, launch narratives, and foundational messaging by audience, segment, industry, and use case.

+ Incorporate customer, market, frontline, and competitive insights into go-to-market plans.

+ Translate complex product information into clear, differentiated stories that connect product capabilities to customer needs and business value.

+ Develop the messaging frameworks and foundational copy that enable Marketing, Content, Creative, and Sales Enablement teams to produce consistent, effective work.

Cross-Functional Readiness and Execution

+ Serve as the central conduit between Product and the teams responsible for taking products to market.

+ Ensure stakeholders receive the information, context, messaging, and tools needed to support each launch confidently.

+ Partner closely with sales enablement and competitive intelligence owners; ensuring they can execute on start sell initiatives.

+ Collaborate and execute on launch deliverables including briefs, copy, presentations, webinars, feature sheets, web content, videos, emails and case studies.

+ Remain accountable for keeping work moving and ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate, aligned, and ready on time.

Adoption, Measurement & Optimization

+ Partner across the organization to drive product awareness, adoption, engagement, cross-sell, and ongoing value beyond launch.

+ Define launch objectives and success measures, including on-time delivery, stakeholder readiness, awareness, adoption, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.

+ Lead post-launch reviews, share key learnings, and refine positioning, assets, and processes based on results and monitor customer and frontline feedback.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

+ 7+ years of marketing, project management, or product management experience, with at least three years in product marketing, GTM execution, or a related B2B discipline.

+ Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder launches and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong copywriting ability; experience writing for SEO and multi-channel campaigns.

+ Comfortable and effective using AI tools to build scalable templates, automate workflows, and accelerate content creation without sacrificing quality.

+ Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data analysis and measuring performance through pipeline metrics and KPIs.

+ Hands-on experience with tools such as Monday.com, Salesforce, and Marketing Cloud.

+ Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.

BONUS SKILL SET

+ Experience in workforce management, payroll, or HR technology.

+ B2B and/or SaaS experience is a strong asset.

+ Experience with the Pragmatic Framework or similar product marketing methodologies.
