Full Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 5+ years of PM/PO experience in a scaled agile environment (preferred)
• Comfort with data-, API-, or file-centric work able to reason about schemas, file layouts, and integration patterns without needing engineering to translate
• Track record of coordinating cross-team dependencies in a modernization or re-platforming program
• Financial services / transfer agency / mutual fund domain background strongly preferred (NSCC, FundServ, DTCC exposure a plus)
• Self-directed can absorb context on an in-flight program and start adding value within 23 sprints
• Strong communicator who flags risks early and keeps dependencies from going stale Low-ego and collaborative partners well with an already-established program team

Roles & Responsibilities

As we look at bringing on additional PM resources to augment teams working on TA Modernization efforts, here's the general shape of what we'd be looking for. The intent is to give the contractor a discrete, well-scoped body of work (a capability or workstream) to own end-to-end alongside a delivery team, not to have them float across the program pulling the next story off a shared backlog. They'd act as the day-to-day PM for that scope, embedded with the team and plugged into program ceremonies, under the direction of the relevant Sr PM Lead.

Core responsibilities:
• Requirements gathering with business SMEs, architecture, and upstream/downstream partners
• Writing user stories and GWT acceptance criteria; running backlog refinement, sprint planning, and POAT
• Cross-team integration coordination (contract alignment, sequencing, dependencies)
• Stakeholder communications, roadmap updates, and prep of program artifacts (status slides, etc.)
• Program-support activities as they arise: defect triage, mock events, Production parallel testing (EPP Ignite/Amplify), consumer/producer check-ins, table tops, training materials, RUN team onboarding, and production readiness

Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Planning & Execution Effectively prioritize tasks, estimate effort, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones while balancing multiple commitments.
• Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships with business teams, clients, and leadership through proactive communication and expectation management.
• Communication Convey technical and non-technical information clearly through meetings, presentations, documentation, and status updates.
• Collaboration Foster teamwork across cross-functional groups, encourage knowledge sharing, and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Decision Making Analyze options, assess risks, and make informed decisions that align with both technical and business objectives.
• Leadership & Ownership Take accountability for deliverables, drive initiatives proactively, and lead by example to achieve team goals.
• Risk & Issue Management Identify potential risks early, address blockers proactively, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Customer & Business Focus Understand customer needs and business priorities, ensuring technical solutions deliver measurable value.
• Mentoring & Coaching Support team growth through guidance, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and skill development initiatives.
• Project & Change Management Adapt effectively to evolving requirements, manage priorities during change, and ensure successful delivery outcomes.
