Full Job Description
We are looking for a Product Managerto join our team! This position is hybrid if candidate is local to Gilbertsville, PA office. Otherwise, the role will be remote.

Main Function:

The Product Manager is responsible for the vision and viability of a product line. The Product Manager is the champion for the product and will work with Sales and Marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product's positioning, key benefits, and target customers. The Product Manager will also serve as the subject matter expert for product offerings within their product line for internal and external stakeholders. The Product Manager is a design leader committed to understanding and finding solutions to stakeholder needs, gathering the details and tying them back to the big picture. The Product Manager will be the advocate for bold, new ideas prioritizing them and delivering results.

Education and Experience:
  • BS degree in computer science, business management, or equivalent
  • 6+ years' experience in software product management, or equivalent subject matter.
  • A track record of successfully leading large mission critical projects, cross company coordination and communication, and building large scale applications & services.

Job Description:
  • Assess product opportunities, defining what product and features are to be built.
  • Define future product direction, business goals and metrics in alignment with our business commitments
  • Define new features, write user stories and acceptance criteria, define KPIs, set OKRs, own and prioritize backlog, and triage defects to iteratively deliver, launch, and measure the success of each release.
  • Work cross functionally to write product requirements, use cases, specifications, wireframes and UI mocks.
  • Understand competitive products and value and find product market fit, define our feature plans and scenarios
  • Work with the Program Management team to ensure appropriate project milestones are completed i.e. sprint reviews, sprint planning meetings, and feature reviews.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects.
  • Validate target markets through customer interviews and market research.
  • Translate customers' feedback and market trends into clearly defined requirements that can be used in the consideration processes
  • Work with the Marketing department where required to assist with market plans and information requests for Marketing related programs
  • Perform ongoing analysis and propose necessary actions to ensure continued marketability and profitability of the product line.
  • Provide input to marketing staff to ensure that they are able to generate high quality sales aids such as product guides, press releases, and web content.
  • Assist the Business Solutions Department with product related requests surrounding how the product offerings meet customer needs and inquiries, current and future.
  • Attend trade shows and User Group Meetings.
