OverviewThe Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing and delivering world-class IT products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing enhancements of our products.
Responsibilities- Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product strategy in alignment with the company's vision and goals. Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Product Roadmap: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, features, and release schedules.
- prioritize features based on customer needs and market demand.
- Understanding of Software Development: The IT product manager should be well-versed in software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. He or she needs to understand the software development lifecycle and be able to work effectively within these frameworks.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales and support teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. Translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of products. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Product Development: Lead the product development process from concept to launch. Define product specifications, uses stories, and acceptance criteria. Monitor development progress, provide guidance, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- User Experience (UX): champion a user-centric approach to product design. Work with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer training. Monitor product performance and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
- Product Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of products. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product features.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to retirement. Make recommendations on product enhancements, updates, or sunsetting based on market analysis and customer feedback.

Qualifications- Database and Data Management: A basic understanding of databases, data storage, and data management is important.
- The incoming IT Product Manager should be able to discuss data-related requirements with the development team.
- DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial for coordinating efficient product development and deployment processes.
- Data Analytics and Metrics: The IT Product Manager should be comfortable with data analysis tools and metrics tracking to make data-driven decisions and monitor product performance.
- Project Management: Exceptional project management and organizational skills

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Product Manager or similar role in the technology field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud computing.

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Certified Agile Product Owner (CAPO)
- Certified Information systems Security Professional (CISSP)
EducationBachelors Degree
