Full Job Description
Position Summary

As our Product Manager – Entertainment, you’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and full lifecycle of our TV, streaming, and next-gen entertainment products—defining what we build, how we package and price it, and how it reaches customers. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role: you’ll write the requirements, work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering and content partners to ship, and stay close enough to the market to shape the positioning and launch story yourself. You’ll combine local insight and industry trends to put Armstrong at the heart of the home and ahead in a rapidly changing market.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Entertainment Roadmap: Set the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Armstrong’s TV, video, and streaming portfolio—new bundles, on-demand content, apps, and integrated entertainment experiences. Build the business cases, define packaging and pricing, and decide what gets built, bought, or retired.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Keep a pulse on streaming trends, content partnerships, platform evolutions, and how national/OTT players (like Comcast/Xfinity, YouTube TV, Hulu, Netflix) impact our local offering and community customers. Feed those findings directly into roadmap, packaging, and pricing decisions.

  • Requirements & Delivery: Translate customer needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize the backlog, make the trade-off calls, and drive releases with engineering, vendors, and platform partners from concept through launch and iteration.

  • Cross-Team Leadership: Act as the hub across engineering, customer care, finance, field operations, digital, creative, and sales—driving launch readiness for entertainment offers, bundles, and platform upgrades. Equip frontline teams with positioning, pitch tools, and training.

  • Own the Numbers: Define the KPIs and own results for subscriber growth, content engagement, pay-TV retention, app adoption, ARPU, and margin. Draw insights from viewership data, user behavior, and NPS—pivot fast, double down on what works.

  • Partnerships & Vendor Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and manage content, platform, and technology partners—from build-vs-buy analysis through contract requirements, integration, and ongoing performance—to secure the exclusives and innovations that set Armstrong apart.

  • Champion the Customer: Own the voice of the customer—research, usability testing, care escalations, and field feedback—and advocate for seamless onboarding, rich discovery, and support that keeps entertainment easy for every household.

  • Positioning & Launch Story: Because this role spans product and product marketing, you’ll also craft the value proposition, name and frame the offer, and shape launch messaging for audiences from families and sports fans to cord-cutters and streaming binge-watchers—partnering with marketing on campaign execution.

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of product management experience (product marketing exposure a plus) in video, streaming, entertainment, or telecom

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

  • Track record shipping products end-to-end: roadmaps, requirements, agile delivery with engineering, and successful launches

  • Passion for how people discover and experience entertainment across platforms

  • Comfortable across the full range—business cases and backlogs on one side, positioning and launches on the other

  • Data-driven: experience with dashboards, viewership analytics, user segmentation, and P&L or unit-economics analysis

  • Excellent communicator, natural collaborator, customer champion

  • Knowledge of national and regional content provider/streaming landscape

  • Ability to work independent and within a team environment

What’s in it for you
  • Own a portfolio and define the future of entertainment experiences at Armstrong

  • Work on the frontlines of media evolution with industry-leading teams

  • Competitive salary, benefits, and a collaborative, innovative culture
