Description The Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a specific product or value stream, while also managing and developing Product Owners. Operating within the direction set by the Principal Product Manager, this role ensures the team is solving the right problems and is equipped to deliver them effectively.
A successful Product Manager will drive:

Responsibilities Product Strategy & Outcomes
- Define and own product-level strategy aligned to Product vision and company goals
- Translate strategy into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap
- Establish and track product-level success metrics (OKRs, KPIs)
Product Discovery and Customer Engagement
- Lead continuous product discovery
- Build and maintain customer and stakeholder feedback loops
- Validate ideas before development to reduce risk
- Use insights to prioritize opportunities and refine direction
Roadmap & Prioritization
- Own and maintain the initiative-level roadmap
- Prioritize based on value, impact, effort, and risk
- Continuously adjust direction based on performance and insights
Stakeholder Alignment
- Ensure alignment between product direction and business goals
- Partner with stakeholders and support executive communication
- Resolve cross-team dependencies and escalations
Delivery Partnership
- Partner with Product Owners and Software Engineering to ensure:
- Clear understanding of intent and expected outcomes
- Alignment between delivery and strategy
- Participate in key ceremonies to validate outcomes
People Leadership & Coaching
- Manage and develop Product Owners, including:
- Goal setting and performance management
- Regular 1:1s and career development planning
- Hiring and onboarding of new POs
Coaching & Capability Building
- Coach POs on:
- Backlog management and prioritization
- Writing effective user stories and acceptance criteria
- Stakeholder communication and facilitation
- Ensure consistent Definition of Ready and execution standards across teams
Operating Model Ownership
- Reinforce and evolve ways of working (WoW) across teams
- Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities between PdM, PO, and Engineering
- Identify and address gaps in execution, quality, or team effectiveness
Typical Qualifications - Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience in product management, strategy, and discovery
- Prior experience managing or mentoring product or delivery roles
- Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with team enablement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile product environments
