Product Manager for High Horsepower Compact Track Loaders (CTLs) is responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle of SANY's CTL product line in North America. This role serves as the technical and commercial expert for the product, ensuring machines meet market requirements, customer expectations, regulatory standards, and profitability targets.
The Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, Dealers, Marketing, and key customers to develop competitive products, improve existing models, support new product introductions (NPI), and drive continuous product improvements based on Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through market launch and continuous improvement.
- Lead North American NPI activities and ensure launch readiness, including technical documentation, training, service support, and parts availability.
- Serve as the technical expert for CTL products, supporting product development, testing, and field issue resolution.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, market research, and Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to define product requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, and Marketing to deliver successful product launches and improvements.
- Monitor product quality, warranty trends, and customer feedback to drive corrective actions and reliability improvements.
- Support dealers, key customers, product demonstrations, and technical training.
- Develop product specifications, pricing recommendations, and long-term product roadmaps for the North American market.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or product development within the construction equipment industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of compact track loaders, hydraulic systems, powertrain, engines, electrical systems, and machine diagnostics.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), product validation, and competitive benchmarking.
- Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills..
EDUCATION- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS- Willingness to travel up to 40% within North America and internationally as required.
