The team is focused on building a fast, intuitive, and frictionless purchasing experience that helps customers easily understand pricing, complete their purchase, and get started with Klaviyo. Along the way, the team also owns key capabilities that support a modern SaaS purchasing experience, including subscriptions, billing, promotions, payment workflows, and customer self-service.

Working closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, Finance, and Analytics, the team continuously improves the checkout experience through customer research, experimentation, and data-driven product development.
The Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of Klaviyo's Checkout Experience.

In this role, you'll own key parts of the customer purchasing journey, with a primary focus on improving checkout conversion and reducing friction throughout the buying experience. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Growth to build intuitive experiences that help more customers successfully evaluate, purchase, and activate Klaviyo.

You'll use customer research, experimentation, and product analytics to identify opportunities to simplify the purchasing flow, improve conversion, and deliver a best-in-class SaaS checkout experience. You'll also have the opportunity to work on adjacent areas including subscriptions, billing, promotions, payment experiences, and integrations with platforms like Stripe as the product continues to evolve.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving customer problems, shipping polished user experiences, and using data to drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Own product initiatives across Klaviyo's customer checkout experience, with a focus on increasing conversion and reducing friction throughout the purchasing journey.
  • Build intuitive purchasing experiences that help customers confidently select a plan, complete checkout, and activate their subscription.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to continuously improve the checkout flow through customer research, usability testing, experimentation, and iterative product development.
  • Analyze conversion funnels, customer behavior, and product metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure business impact.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to support new purchasing experiences, pricing experiments, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Help evolve adjacent experiences including subscriptions, billing, promotions, payment methods, customer self-service, and payment recovery where they improve the overall customer experience.
  • Partner with Engineering on integrations with payment platforms such as Stripe and other supporting infrastructure as needed.
  • Define product success metrics and use experimentation to continuously improve customer outcomes.
Who You Are
  • 2-4+ years of product management experience building customer-facing software products.
  • Experience owning user journeys where conversion, onboarding, growth, or customer experience were primary success metrics.
  • Experience with SaaS checkout, purchasing flows, subscription products, PLG, growth, onboarding, or monetization is highly preferred.
  • Strong product intuition around UX and customer experience, with a passion for simplifying complex workflows.
  • Comfortable using experimentation, funnel analysis, customer research, and analytics to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent cross-functional partner who enjoys working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams.
  • Experience with subscription billing, payment platforms (such as Stripe), promotions, pricing, or payment recovery is a plus-but not required.
  • Curious, collaborative, and excited to build products that have measurable customer and business impact.
