UL Solutions is seeking a Product Manager, Business Transformation to support the execution of strategic business transformation initiatives across operational, technology, and data domains. This role will partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve processes, standardize operating models, modernize technology capabilities, and support organization-scale transformation programs.

This role will operate at the intersection of business operations, technology, data, and process governance, driving scalable, repeatable, and auditable solutions that improve efficiency, quality, visibility, and business outcomes. Initial assignments are expected to support laboratory operations modernization, including process standardization, workflow optimization, data management, and technology enablement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of complex business transformation initiatives involving process improvement, operating model design, technology implementation, and data standardization.
  • Maintain integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple teams
  • Track progress, risks, and issues; drive resolution through structured escalation
  • Coordinate interdependencies across related initiatives (upstream and downstream systems)
  • Support development and refinement of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitate working sessions with SMEs to decompose current-state processes and define target-state workflows
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical design
  • Track delivery of key artifacts (process models, data definitions, system requirements)
  • Assist in defining and documenting standardized business processes, operating models, workflows, and control frameworks across business functions
  • Support implementation of workflow controls, business rules, data standards, and process governance mechanisms that improve consistency, quality, and compliance
  • Help drive consistency across organizations while balancing local business requirements and operational constraints
  • Support program governance structures, including status reporting, decision tracking, and RAID management
  • Prepare materials for leadership reviews and stakeholder communication
  • Ensure adherence to defined governance processes and standards
  • Coordinate across business operations, engineering, technology, quality, compliance, and other stakeholder groups
  • Manage communications, meeting cadence, and follow-ups across distributed teams
  • Support alignment and decision-making across competing priorities
  • Assist with migration planning, cutover coordination, and adoption activities
  • Support development of training materials and rollout strategies
  • Track adoption metrics and implementation progress


Qualifications

  • University Degree (equivalent to Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • ~10+ years relevant experience, including significant program/project coordination and delivery experience
  • Experience supporting large, complex, cross-functional programs
  • Background in process transformation, system implementation, or operations
  • Experience coordinating across business and technology teams
  • Exposure to laboratory operations, LIMS (e.g., LabWare), or sample workflows
  • Experience supporting operational, engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, quality, or other process-driven business environment.
  • Experience with data standardization, workflow automation, or enterprise systems integration
  • Strong program coordination and execution discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and dependencies
  • Strong facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
  • Structured problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to leverage GenAI tools to accelerate your work with a genuine curiosity about how these tools are reshaping business transformation.
  • SAFe/Agile training and/or certification is highly preferred.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday and personal days (totaling 12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
