Your role

As a Product Manager, you be responsible for exceptional customer experiences with our products to drive sustainable growth for the customer center. Your responsibilities will include ensuring product security, compatibility of connected products, and alignment of product functionality with customer needs. You will prioritize new product features based on customer feedback, validate their effectiveness with key partners, and develop comprehensive training material for both internal and external users to facilitate the smooth implementation of innovative solutions. Working closely with the sales team in the field, you will collaborate directly with customers to ensure our products meet their expectations, continuously enhancing satisfaction and driving innovation.

  • Develop business cases to drive and implement product feature development aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Ensure that your assigned product lines are thoroughly validated to ensure compatibility with other Atlas Copco solutions while providing the highest possible level of security and bug-free operation for our customer partners.
  • Maintain complete ownership of products under your responsibility and effectively articulate the product's capabilities and value proposition to both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • Develop and conduct product demonstrations that effectively convey the value proposition of your assigned product lines.
  • Provide a high level of "before the sale" technical support for customer-facing activities that will drive sales growth of your assigned product lines.
  • Develop training material with a technical, how-to focus that will effectively guide sales, distributor and customer partners in effective usage and implementation of your assigned product lines.
  • Effectively gather, interpret, and act upon the Voice of the Customer (VoC). Ensure meaningful customer engagement, gather valuable insights, and use appropriate tools to translate VoC data into actionable product features and training materials.
  • Leverage the ACCORD model and other frameworks to process VoC feedback and deliver high-quality outputs for feature development and training.
  • Foster a Functional Teams mindset to build strong cross-functional relationships with Product Companies, other Marketing teams, and the broader Customer Center organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business or a related field.
  • Customer-focused, technically minded approach to problem solving with a continuous desire to improve the quality and robustness of our product offering.
  • Tireless work ethic and strong collaboration within the Marketing team to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while ensuring a great result.
  • Expertise in product validation and driving innovation, with the ability to identify and succinctly convey future product and marketing opportunities through collaboration with customers.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering with sales, product promotion and product development teams to achieve aligned business objectives.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing, engineering, or industrial equipment sectors is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
