Master Scheduler Job Description Waev Inc. is an electric mobility OEM founded in 2021 to manufacture, distribute, market, and support the GEM, Taylor Dunn and Tiger brands. GEM was the first commercially produced, street legal low speed vehicle in the United States. GEMs shuttle people and goods across city centers, residential communities, government campuses, colleges and universities, and other micro environments. Founded in 1949, Taylor Dunn burden carriers, personnel carriers, and stockchasers have been trusted solutions in a broad range of commercial environments and provide premium reliability, safety features, and all electric efficiency for industrial grade applications. Tiger heavy duty tow tractors have been towing cargo, baggage, parcel, and other equipment in ground support applications since 1981. Waev's headquarters and factory are located in Anaheim, California. Master Scheduler Duties & Responsibilities Maintain the master production schedule for finished goods for an entire product line working in detail in the ERP balancing capacity, material availability, inventory, and customer priorities. Optimize the overall delivery of goods, customer expectations, and deliver the daily shop floor execution schedule on what is clear to build. Analyze and action daily both internal and external open order reports to support sales and service goals Responsible for customer service metrics: on time delivery, past dues, schedule attainment. Trigger formal reviews by evaluating all requested changes to MPS schedules (timing, quantity and configuration) and ensure alignment of support plans and commitment of responses Maintain data integrity of ERP planning parameters: planner codes, production lead times, master data, demand and planning time fences, order quantities, etc. Monitor/maintain accuracy and integrity of MPS input information such as forecasts, order reconciliation, customer cancellations/expedites, etc. Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Operations to improve overall throughput and efficiency Work collaboratively with supplying departments in procurement, fabrication, paint as well as succeeding departments in shipping/logistics to resolve issues. Master Scheduler Qualifications Minimum Level Qualifications: 8+ years in production planning / master production scheduling roles in industrial manufacturing Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management Experience in lean manufacturing environments: utilizing kanban, kaizen, heijunka, etc. Expert level use ERPs: SAP (QTC, PP, RTC, MM), Oracle, JD Edwards, AS400, etc. Specific to use of MRP Expert level use of MS Excel, Access, Word, Sharepoint Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, etc) Experience in procurement, production supervision, manufacturing engineering Certifications in APICS, CPIM, CSCP, PMP Use of advanced analytics/reporting via Alteryx, Google Data Studio / Big Query, SQL, R, Tableau Use of Sales Force / similar CRM Working Conditions Role is full time and in person based within Waev's Anaheim manufacturing facility Fast paced office environment
