Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience in the airfoils investment casting industry is beneficial.
• Proven skills in analytical thinking, problem solving, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of process control methods is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changes efficiently.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
• Interpersonal and leadership abilities to guide teams effectively.
• Experience leading projects and programs is critical.
• Proficiency in a major 3D CAD software package.
• Understanding of Zero-Defect Program methodologies and Six Sigma concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes for effective scrap elimination on parts.
• Write and update Engineering instructions continuously.
• Manage timelines and budgets for product release activities.
• Identify cost reduction strategies in manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and enhance processes to maintain or improve yields.
• Conduct studies on dimensional probability for products.
• Submit and ensure completion of product qualifications.
• Create and implement specific procedures for parts.
• Use statistical analysis for yield and dimensional assessment in casting.
• Collaborate on tooling design and coordinate with design teams.
