Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience in the airfoils investment casting industry preferred.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; adept in process improvement.
• Knowledge of process control methods and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and leadership experience.
• Proficiency in major, industry-standard 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with Zero-Defect Program principles like PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes and establish controls to minimize scrap on assigned parts.
• Write and update Engineering instructions regularly.
• Manage product release activities to adhere to schedule and budget.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Continuously improve processes for optimal yields.
• Conduct dimensional probability studies for quality assurance.
• Initiate and complete product qualifications and related documentation.
• Create and implement part-specific procedures and instructions.
• Perform statistical analysis on yield and dimensional elements during the casting process.
• Design and coordinate tooling specifications and detailed build instructions.
