As a Product Design Engineer, you will partner with R&D teams, as well as manufacturing and quality teams, to develop solutions for current and next generation window and door products. You will influence the system form factor, product performance, and customer experience for those using our products. You will be a key contributor in our mission to become a world-class customer experience company through our products and services.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience with 3D CAD modeling

1 year experience working on product development, including prototyping and testing

Experience with dimensional engineering and tolerance analysis

Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience working in Research and Development or working in a product development environment

Ability to diagnose and solve complex problems involving product and process

Experience with test method creation and improvement

Experience with characterization, process monitoring, specifications, failure analysis and data analysis

Ability to present facts to team members at all levels and backgrounds

Ability to code in Python, Java, or similar language

Knowledge of manufacturing, lean, and process improvement methodology

Knowledge of the building industry

Hands on practical experience building something, either personal or professional

Pay Range:
$88,235.00 - $136,765.00

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
