Job Position - Product Delivery Manager Report to Operations Planning Manager As a Product Delivery Manager on the Industrial Cranes Team, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful execution of new crane fabrication across North America. Your primary responsibilities will include the end-to-end fabrication process, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external fabricators to manage project workload, communicate requirements, and mitigate delays effectively. Strategic scheduling expertise, demonstrated leadership and exceptional communication skills are essential attributes for this role. You will guide and support our fabricators, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications. By fostering internal relationships and driving continuous improvement initiatives, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer purchasing experience. The Product Delivery Manager role is integral in shaping industry-leading customer experiences and facilitating the achievement of business objectives and strategic plans.
You Will:
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the deliverables, scope, and requirements of all assigned orders.
- Effectively communicate the scope and requirements to the assigned fabricator.
- Coordinate all deliveries to fabricators, including drawings, steel, components and all other necessary materials.
- Negotiate costs within the best interest of Konecranes, ensuring optimal financial outcomes while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage schedules to ensure timelines are met, collaborating with internal and external teams to address potential delays.
- Maintain workload and schedule balance at fabricators to maximize build potential, without creating an over promised situation.
- Oversee the management of builder deliverables to Konecranes, include ITP, FAT, square/span reports and documentation.
- Resolve non-conformances prior to shipment of orders, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Cultivate and nurture internal relationships with key stakeholder groups and individuals.
- Execute annual planning actions to align with business objectives and strategic plans.
- Contribute to and initiate ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process and outcomes.
Qualifications Qualifications: - Hold a PMP certification or minimum five years experience as a master scheduler, which is preferred.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Exhibit proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
- Display effective communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrate adeptness in managing multiple tasks concurrently across various projects, with proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Possess a strong technical aptitude and keen interest in comprehensively understanding our products and processes.
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft and SAP
