Full Job Description
Position

WCF Insurance is growing, and the Product Management department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a Product Business & Technology Analyst. This is a full-time, exempt position that may be based out of the Sandy, Utah headquarters or satellite offices in Roseville, CA, Boise, Idaho, or Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications

The most qualified Product Analyst candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in insurance or combination of IT and insurance.
  • Proficient in documentation tools and JIRA.
  • Experience in IT, training and project management, and managing business relationships.
  • Expertise in complex business processes, system design, and operations.
  • Excellent conflict management and oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify cause and effect relationships.
  • Commercial insurance product knowledge preferred.
  • SQL experience is desirable.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Collaboratively create aligning strategic priorities with stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary systems contact for product management.
  • Contribute to the development of the product management technology strategy.
  • Gather and document business requirements for product management IT projects.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to IT development teams during design and construction phases of projects and support issue resolution.
  • Coordinate projects with other department liaisons to ensure strategic alignment and maximum business value.
  • Work with IT quality assurance to develop comprehensive system test plans, scripts, and cases for business-system projects and support issues.
  • Anticipate, analyze, and resolve product management technology problems.
  • Develop, document, and present user requirements to IT.
  • Develop training materials and lead training for business users.
  • Responsible for ancillary office hardware and supplies.
  • Develop and lead product management testing of new software.
  • Assist in overseeing third-party vendor relationships and integrations with WCF systems.
  • Work with the business intelligence group to ensure reports are available to product management.
  • Assist with data reporting requirements to regulatory agencies; ensure NISS reports are filed timely.

ACCOUNTABILITY & REQUIREMENTS
  • Manage the development and maintenance of IT systems for the product management
  • Expertise in all WCF product management applications.
  • Lead product management and IT meetings.
  • Responsible for the quality control of product management system reports.
  • Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, work well under pressure, make timely, informed decisions, and work successfully in a team environment.

All employees earn 4 weeks of vacation in their first year. The minimum salary for this position starts at $67,600 annually. There is the ability to increase stating pay depending on experience, education, and location with the maximum being $116,880.00 annually.

Internal candidates should have 6 months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
