Position PurposeThe Producer is a creative leader, project manager, client relationship manager and people manager. As project lead, the Producer is both responsible and accountable for all aspects of the project including the best and appropriate creative intent, IP utilization, quality and feasibility of the design, efficient production, fabrication, procurement and Installation efforts. The Producer ensures coordination across multiple design disciplines and is responsible for the financial profit or loss generated by the effort.
Essential Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesThe Producer is an excellent project manager, able to scope, budget, schedule, track jobs from inception to delivery. The Producer can manage large projects in: scope, timeline and budget with little to no direction. The Producer will also be able to lead creative and technical teams and work under a Sr. Producer/Exec. Producer and mentor Design Managers and Production Coordinators.
- They must have the resilience and fortitude to negotiate and have hard conversations with clients while still doing everything possible to keep them happy.
- They must protect the company's creative and financial well being.
- Be intimately familiar with a client's business goals and creative objectives for the project to help ensure that the project team's efforts will achieve those goals.
- Perform as a "trusted advisor" to the client and advocate the project requirements to the project team.
- Strategic thinking is required throughout the life of the project on behalf of the company and the client.
- The Producer is responsible for clearly defining the lines of responsibility and that there's adequate coordination between internal disciplines, sub-contractors, clients and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate any gaps or overlaps.
- Ensure compliance with the commercial aspects of the project as well as its creative goals, design intent, constructability and production elements of the project, Regularly informs and advises Sr. Management of project status, knowing to elevate issues early and with recommended solutions.
- Is responsible for the relationship with IP holders, ensuring conformance with any and all Intellectual Properties requirements.
- Proactively finding and cultivating new clients and sources of revenue for the team is a pre-requisite to advancing beyond this position.

Competencies:- Lead creative efforts from concept to delivery
- In depth knowledge of project process to be able to develop project strategies and scopes and schedules
- Able to use / learn proprietary budget accounting system, Deltek VantagePoing
- Able to use / learn scheduling software such as MicroSoft Project, Gantter, or Merlin.
- Able to use / learn Google Suite, particularly Sheets and Documents. Able to create basic spreadsheet calculations.
- In depth knowledge of project process to be able to help develop vendor RFPs, respond to RFIs, write contract scopes, and evaluate bids.
- Strong negotiator with and manager of 3rd party vendors
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Possess a great attitude -- demonstrate a perpetual willingness to jump in and assist with any problem
- Work in a team environment -- be trustworthy, open and collaborative
- Passion and strong drive to constantly learn, innovate, and help the company grow
- Well developed design and production management portfolio.
- Knowledge of design management, work planning, budgeting, scheduling, bid package preparation and variety of vendors.
- Experience in managing location-based entertainment technologies such as ride, audio, video, projection, show control, animatronics, etc.
- Knowledge in location-based entertainment related architectural, project management, organizational, and production, fabrication and construction practices.
- Experience in related fields, such as live entertainment and event production and operation is beneficial.
- Possesses solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and to facilitate positive and productive communication between all disciplines.
- Must be able to become very knowledgeable of the client's brand and IP.
- Ability to represent the project and the company in front of a client
- High level of professionalism
- Experience having some actualized projects in field
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain an objective attitude toward problem solving in difficult and/or complex situations.
- Exemplary communication skills
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of previous experience at this level of responsibility.
- 5+ years of client management experience in successfully delivering production solutions, preferably in a global client-service organization
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Architecture, Business Administration, Theatrical Management or a related field
- Experience working with budgets from $1-2M USD
- Experience with build and onsite installation

- Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear steel-toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
Salary: $110,000 - 130,000 commensurate with experience
