We are seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead a team of buyers while playing an active, hands-on role in sourcing and purchasing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys balancing strategic supplier management with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As the Procurement Supervisor, you will oversee approximately $15 million in annual spending across key supplier relationships and material categories that are critical to production. You will be responsible for ensuring material availability, driving cost savings, strengthening supplier performance, and helping the organization meet customer commitments.
This position is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a manufacturing setting and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three buyers, providing daily guidance and performance leadership.
  • Manage sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure materials are available on time and at competitive costs.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through selection, negotiations, performance management, and strategic partnership development.
  • Drive annual cost reduction and savings initiatives through effective negotiation and market analysis.
  • Monitor inventory levels to balance production requirements, customer service objectives, and working capital goals.
  • Source direct materials used in manufacturing, including roll goods, adhesives, coatings, inks, films, and related commodities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Customer Service teams to support business objectives.
  • Analyze market conditions and commodity trends to identify risks, opportunities, and sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain procurement processes, supplier documentation, budgets, and ERP data while ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards.
  • Support broader supply chain initiatives focused on operational excellence, supplier performance, and continuous improvement.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supply planning, or a related supply chain function.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, including supervising, coaching, mentoring, or leading procurement teams.
  • Proven experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier performance.
  • Experience sourcing materials, services, equipment, or production-related commodities.
  • Demonstrated success identifying and delivering measurable cost savings.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement technologies.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing roll goods, adhesives, inks, coatings, films, paper products, labels, or similar manufacturing materials.
  • Procurement experience within manufacturing, printing, labeling, medical device, laboratory, automotive, or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing purchasing budgets or supplier portfolios valued at approximately $15 million or more.
  • Back ground in global sourcing and international supplier management.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (S&OP/SIOP) processes.
  • Familiarity with domestic freight, international trade, or contract manufacturing procurement.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
