Procurement Services Senior Analyst

Glanbia

The Procurement Services Senior Analyst supports development and execution of the Global Procurement Services strategy by leading process design, user experience improvement, process governance, analytics, and change efforts for procurement-owned execution processes. The role serves as a lead P2P SME and Process Owner Representative, translating how people work into scalable process and workflow designs that maximize adoption, compliance, efficiency, and business value.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, optimization, and standardization of global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, ensuring efficient, compliant, and user-friendly procurement operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Procurement Services by identifying process inefficiencies, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Design and enhance procurement workflows, service models, and user journeys to improve stakeholder experience, increase adoption, and reduce operational friction.
  • Facilitate process discovery workshops with procurement, finance, IT, and business stakeholders to identify pain points, streamline handoffs, and develop future-state solutions.
  • Own procurement intake and orchestration processes, including workflow requirements, routing logic, escalation paths, governance controls, and user-facing guidance.
  • Partner with technology and system teams to translate business requirements into procurement workflow enhancements, system improvements, testing plans, and deployment activities.
  • Manage and prioritize a continuous improvement backlog, leveraging user feedback, operational metrics, and business needs to drive ongoing process enhancements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for supplier lifecycle management, overseeing supplier onboarding, maintenance, master data quality, governance, and offboarding processes.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to improve supplier data quality, reduce transaction exceptions, strengthen controls, and enhance the overall supplier experience.
  • Develop and maintain training programs, knowledge articles, communications, and role-based guidance to support user enablement and global adoption of procurement tools and processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including cycle times, request volumes, workflow accuracy, compliance metrics, user adoption, supplier data quality, and service effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create dashboards, governance reports, and executive-ready insights that support operational decision-making, compliance monitoring, and Procurement Services performance management.
  • Lead complex issue resolution and strategic projects, partnering with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, IT, Shared Services, Audit, Compliance, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Experience designing and improving business processes with a strong focus on user experience, adoption, efficiency, compliance, and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate end-to-end user journeys, identify pain points, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and translate business needs into scalable process and workflow designs.
  • Experience balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, compliance requirements, governance expectations, and technology capabilities when designing future-state processes.
  • Experience translating business requirements into intake forms, request categories, routing logic, workflow steps, user stories, acceptance criteria, or test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with help desk/intake management concepts, including triage, prioritization, escalation, knowledge management, SLAs, user adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting workflow configuration, testing, release validation, or low-code/no-code business applications preferred; direct system configuration ownership is not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, facilitate workshops, develop recommendations, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong ability to partner with COE, Integrations & Optimization, IT, Procurement, Finance/AP, GBS, and regional stakeholders to manage process changes and system enhancement requests.
  • Experience leading Procure-to-Pay (P2P), procurement operations, supplier enablement, shared services, or related business process activities.
