Position Overview

The International Procurement group is seeking a Procurement Program Manager to join their team! 

 

Key Duties: 

Facilitation and Support: Oversee and support procurement and quality activities for new product development programs to ensure business objectives are achieved.Cross-Functional Representation: Represent Procurement and Quality on cross-functional program teams for programs.Timeline Management: Ensure all milestones and gates are met, risk mitigation, issue resolution, status reportingQuality Management: Ensure suppliers meet all quality requirements along with resolution of all quality issues from build events to implementationInternal Collaboration: Support internal teams, including procurement, engineering, supplier quality, materials availability, finance, and aftermarket contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Procurement Management: Oversee and support procurement and quality requirements for product implementation and program launches from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal customers and department personnel.
  • Program Representation: Represent Procurement and Quality on program teams for all new  program introductions.
  • Communication: Relay program information to the Procurement and Quality organization and ensure assignments are completed to support program goals.
  • Timeline Management: Ensure timing is on track for all milestones, proactively mitigate risk, reporting of key activities and project status to Senior Leadership.
  • Budget Management: Manage project capital budget
  • Collaboration: Work with Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive solutions to ensure best cost, and highest quality product is achieved while meeting program timeline deliverables.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential issues, manage changes proactively, and ensure projects have the correct pedigree of parts, are on time, and are within budget.
  • Implementation Follow-Through: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and follow through on implementation.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver informative and persuasive presentations to large groups, cross-functional teams, and executive audiences. Must be comfortable with public speaking.
  • Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and management.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the liaison and voice to Procurement, Quality, Service Parts, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 1 year of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

OR

  • At least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
