This role is accountable for developing end-to-end sourcing strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and building a high-performance, value-driven procurement organization.
Your responsibilities will include: - Oversees sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply.
- Develops and executes category strategies that drive value, innovation, and risk mitigation.
- Builds high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
- Ensure procurement practices align with regulatory, ethical, and corporate standards.
- Ensure compliance with Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) tariff provisions, including verification of rules of origin and accurate tariff classification for cross-border shipments.
- Drives cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure procurement systems deliver accurate data and actionable insights.
- Build strategic partnerships to enhance supplier performance and long-term value.
Other Information:This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC, working Monday to Friday, 8-hour days.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience, including team oversight, scheduling, and performance management
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with materials, fabrication, inventory systems, and ERP platforms
- Professional designations (SCMP, CPSM, APICS/CSCP) are an asset
- Expert level proficiency in Excel
- Understanding of project management disciplines and best practices
- Highly organized with the ability to deliver detailed, accurate work in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
