The Procurement Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across procurement functions to ensure reliable supply, optimized cost, and strong supplier performance. This role is accountable for developing end-to-end sourcing strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and building a high-performance, value-driven procurement organization.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Oversees sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply.
  • Develops and executes category strategies that drive value, innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Builds high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Ensure procurement practices align with regulatory, ethical, and corporate standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) tariff provisions, including verification of rules of origin and accurate tariff classification for cross-border shipments.
  • Drives cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure procurement systems deliver accurate data and actionable insights.
  • Build strategic partnerships to enhance supplier performance and long-term value.


Other Information:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC, working Monday to Friday, 8-hour days.

What You Bring:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience, including team oversight, scheduling, and performance management
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with materials, fabrication, inventory systems, and ERP platforms
  • Professional designations (SCMP, CPSM, APICS/CSCP) are an asset
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel
  • Understanding of project management disciplines and best practices
  • Highly organized with the ability to deliver detailed, accurate work in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
