Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement andpurchasingactivities supporting logistics, facilities, mission support, and operational requirements.

  • Develop acquisition strategies and procurement plans aligned with programobjectivesand contractual requirements.

  • Manage vendor identification, source selection, negotiations, and supplier relationships.

  • Coordinate procurement activities across geographically dispersed operational locations.

  • Ensure purchasing activitiescomply withFederal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), company policies, and contractual requirements.

  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality to ensure mission requirements are achieved.

  • Identifyprocurement risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintainsupply continuity.

  • Coordinate withlogistics, finance, legal, and program management personnel to resolve procurement issues.

  • Support subcontract management and vendor integration activities.

  • Analyze procurement metrics, spending trends, and supplier performance to improve operational efficiency.

  • Prepare procurement reports, executive briefings, and acquisition status updates for program leadership.

  • Support contingency procurement and rapid acquisition requirements during emergent operations.

  • Mentor procurement personnel and promote standardized acquisition best practices across the program.

  • Evaluate market trends and emerging suppliers to improve sourcing strategies and mission support capabilities.

  • Foster continuous improvement through procurement optimization, supplier engagement, and process innovation.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Minimum 15 years of experience supporting procurement, purchasing, acquisition, supply chain management, or contract administration for Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience leading complex procurement efforts, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and acquisition planning supporting mission-critical operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to brief senior Government and program leadership on procurement strategies, acquisition performance, and supply chain risks.

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Acquisition Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting contingency contracting, operational procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and global supply chain operations in geographically dispersed environments.

  • Experience utilizing SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft 365, Power BI, or other enterprise procurement and purchasing systems.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), DAWIA/Back-to-Basics Acquisition certifications, or equivalent procurement certifications are preferred.
