Full Job Description
Are you a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain professional who enjoys building better systems-not just maintaining them? Pavement Maintenance Group is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Manager at our corporate headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to shape how our company sources products, manages inventory, and works with suppliers.

With 31 locations and eight manufacturing facilities, PMG needs a hands-on leader who can ensure the right products are available at the right time and at the best overall value. This role combines strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation with inventory management, ERP development, data analysis, and partnership with regional teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship initiatives across PMG's regions and business units
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, allocation, rebates, and purchasing agreements
  • Leverage company-wide spend through supplier consolidation and product standardization
  • Lead NetSuite purchasing setup, including safety stock, lead times, minimum order quantities, demand forecasts, and approval workflows
  • Improve inventory availability, accuracy, turns, and investment while reducing excess stock and carrying costs
  • Support cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate supplier, item, pricing, inventory, and Bill of Materials data
  • Analyze spend, supplier performance, and inventory trends to identify savings, risks, and improvements
  • Develop reports, KPIs, procedures, documentation, and training materials
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, suppliers, and regional leaders

What We're Looking For
  • Five or more years of progressive procurement, purchasing, inventory, supply chain, materials, or related experience
  • Experience with both supplier-facing procurement and operational inventory management
  • Demonstrated vendor negotiation and measurable improvements in cost, terms, supplier performance, inventory, availability, or working capital
  • Experience improving purchasing processes, supplier programs, inventory practices, or ERP workflows
  • Strong ERP experience; NetSuite is ideal, while Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Epicor, or comparable systems may transfer well
  • Knowledge of replenishment, forecasting, safety stock, lead times, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory optimization
  • Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills
  • Manufacturing, industrial distribution, building materials, chemicals, construction materials, or comparable experience strongly preferred; multi-site experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Collaborative, self-directed approach and willingness to travel periodically

Why Join PMG?
  • Build scalable procurement, inventory, supplier, and ERP processes
  • Influence cost, cash flow, product availability, and supplier performance
  • Gain broad ownership across sourcing, negotiations, inventory, systems, analytics, and process improvement
