***This position is Onsite, not hybrid, not remote***What You'll DoThe Process and Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supporting operational performance, and fostering a safe, productive, and engaged work environment. This role partners with production teams and cross-functional departments to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved while driving continuous improvement through the Operational Excellence System (OES). The Process and Production Coordinator provides direction, coaching, and support to team members, promotes standardized processes, monitors performance metrics, and helps ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence.
- Comply with the Quality System Manual, operating procedures, work instructions, and all company policies and requirements.
- Promote a culture focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and support daily production activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to quality standards.
- Provide work direction, coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members while fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment.
- Support performance management activities, including performance feedback, coaching, and corrective actions when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and actively support safety programs, audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
- Monitor production metrics, labor utilization, work order performance, and operational results; identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate OES activities, including board meetings, problem-solving initiatives, and timely completion of improvement actions.
- Develop, maintain, and improve standardized work processes, procedures, and policies to optimize operational performance.
- Communicate team and company objectives, performance metrics, and operational priorities clearly and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow, resolve production issues, and support sustainable business improvements.
- Encourage team member engagement, participation, idea sharing, and recognition of individual and team accomplishments.
- Track and support key performance indicators related to HSE, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Continuous Improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring- Three to seven years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment, including Lead or similar coordinating roles.
- High school diploma required; two-year technical or vocational degree preferred.
- Experience with production scheduling and manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence a diverse workforce.
- Strong understanding of operational excellence and continuous improvement principles preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and intermediate or higher Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze operational data and performance metrics.
- Commitment to safety, quality, professionalism, and ethical business practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate across departments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Demonstrated record of high-quality performance, initiative, accountability, and safe work practices.
- Thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and manufacturing processes.
CompensationBase salary of $83,000-$87,000 annually.
