Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant exempt experience or Master's Degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • NNS Apprentice School or Navy Nuclear Power School graduate accepted as degree equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Implement projects to enhance process efficiency across the organization.
  • Analyze improvement program results to ensure effectiveness.
  • Facilitate and coach teams involved in improvement initiatives.
  • Establish performance metrics to measure program success.
  • Support program governance, including project reviews and communications.
  • Provide training and certification for improvement processes.

Salary Range: $73,000.00 to $91,000.00

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

Defines, designs and implements continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across organization. Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies. Analyzes improvement programs and potential results. Facilitates and coaches improvement teams. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success. Installs process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards. May have six-sigma certification.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
