Full Job Description
The Process Engineer Supervisor leads process engineering efforts to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. This role ensures process engineering work is consistently high quality and data-driven, with clear goals, expected benefits, and measurable results. The Process Engineer Supervisor provides leadership and guidance in identifying improvement opportunities and designing, implementing, and evaluating process improvements, new processes, and system enhancement concepts to achieve sustainable business results.

Duties & Responsibilites:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members by setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular performance feedback, coaching, training, and support for workload management, productivity, issue resolution, professional growth, and job performance.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, performance evaluations, personnel documentation, adherence to company policies and procedures, and providing recommendations regarding hiring, salary adjustments, and separation decisions to leadership.
  • Support strategic planning and resource management by evaluating team priorities, capacity, and organizational needs, while aligning team activities and project roadmaps with divisional and corporate objectives.
  • Review process engineering work products and ensure appropriate methodologies, standards, measurement practices, and Lean Six Sigma concepts are consistently applied to deliver high-quality, actionable, and implementation-ready recommendations.
  • Partner with business leaders, SMEs, and process engineers to identify and prioritize opportunities for operational efficiency, process improvement, customer experience, and performance optimization based on value, complexity, risk, readiness, and business priorities.
  • Lead and support cross-functional process discovery and improvement sessions to establish process understanding, define business problems, identify root causes and improvement opportunities, facilitate decisions, and determine next steps.
  • Ensure reliable baselines, data analysis, root cause methods, measurable goals, impact assessments, and ROI or benefits measures are established and used to evaluate opportunities, monitor implementation results, and confirm sustained improvements.
  • Provide guidance in designing and implementing new or optimized processes, service solutions, and system enhancements that address underlying business needs and are feasible, sustainable, measurable, and supported by appropriate change and adoption planning.
  • Partner with business leaders, operations, project teams, technology partners, and other stakeholders to incorporate process engineering perspectives into project and operational improvement efforts and resolve process-related questions, dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee process improvement engagements within and outside formal project structures, ensuring scope, objectives, stakeholders, data requirements, recommendations, implementation considerations, and expected outcomes are clearly defined and managed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, with related experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Supervisors and managers are required to have completed NYCM's internal leadership development programs, including Employee Enrichment Journey (EEJ1) and Employee Enrichment Journey (EEJ2). Exeternal hires must complete required leadership programs, Employee Enrichment Journey (EEJ1) and Employee Enrichment Journey (EEJ2).

Market Range: 13 / Exempt- 40 hours per week / Hybrid- 3 days in office

Salary: $79,756-$132,926
