Full Job Description
We are seeking full-time PROCESS ENGINEER PIPE PRODUCTION for our Panama City, Florida location.

Primary Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute continuous improvement projects from the conceptual stage through commissioning.
  • Perform regular internal safety audits.
  • Train and instruct employees on standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and integrate continuous improvement into the site culture and daily activities.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to identify projects that support business initiatives and future business models.
  • Manage the reengineering of existing business processes to improve efficiency.
  • Review and revise all production procedures, regarding health and safety requirements.
  • Continuous improvement of internal production reporting forecast system.
  • Create and monitor database for relevant production data.
  • Analyze current processes through value stream mapping, flowcharting, and visual tools.
  • Establish, monitor, measure the process metrics and goals, and affect overall performance.
  • Develop action plans to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives.
  • Standardize and optimize new and existing processes.
  • Establish best practices to optimize process control.
  • Implement various change management strategies to overcome organizational roadblocks to achieve desired change levels.
  • Support and sustain employee enthusiasm and implement strategies that enable parties to work more efficiently together.
  • Make presentations to senior level management representing project objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Provide the setup parameters of equipment and manage the set-up of equipment with the Shift Production Supervisors.
  • Administer company policies and enforce safety / environmental regulations.
  • Ensure all employees follow the Berg Environmental Compliance policy.
  • Act as Suggestions System Manager for the IDEA program and process suggestions submitted by employees and be responsible for their proper handling per policy.


Education & Work Experience

  • College degree in Engineering, or equivalent in related work experience. (Required)
