Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; engineering degree or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in methods engineering, machining, welding, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze contracts, technical specs, and engineering drawings for military and commercial products.
• Strong knowledge of core manufacturing processes like machining, welding, and assembly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Experience in an OEM setting with a focus on process improvement and teamwork.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and enhancement of manufacturing processes for better quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams for new product introductions and ongoing production support.
• Develop and approve technical documentation aligned with quality and engineering standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct risk analyses and lead investigations to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Drive operational excellence using LEAN tools and process optimization initiatives.
