OverviewThe Process Engineer will create, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing systems, reducing costs while maintaining standards of operations, supporting our core values and driving a one-team, employee engaged culture. This position will also be responsible for the full lifecycle of a new manufacturing execution system (CMAP) in credit card production – including system testing, implementation, comprehensive documentation, user training, and sustained technical support to optimize performance and efficiency.
This is a fulltime onsite position in Las Vegas, Nevada
Responsibilities
- Analyze and map current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Design and implement new processes to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction, cost savings, and increased throughput.
- Ensures full support of the development cycle through active participation in applicable design reviews and all Production Readiness Reviews.
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects analysis and champion NPI activities.
- Design, program and install new equipment as necessary to support current and future production needs.
- Evaluate opportunities to incorporate automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Support the integration of robotics, sensors, and other industry 4.0 technologies to enhance equipment capabilities.
- Actively supports broad and open communication with management, production areas, project teams, and other groups.
- Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment; applies this knowledge to maintain the organizations competitive edge.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations.
- Interact with vendors and suppliers to ensure the ongoing support of new and existing equipment.

Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to identify, define, interpret, and develop innovative solutions to solve Manufacturing Engineering problems involving conflicting design/contractual/policy or technical requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively write technical and business-related documentation (e.g. reports, proposals, technical papers, performance reviews, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills to support troubleshooting
Preferred skills:
- Industrial, Mechanical or Systems Engineering Degree
- LEAN Manufacturing Experience
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting.
