Process Engineer Manager
Work setting: In-person - Aircraft Hangar
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Covington has an exciting career opportunity in its organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual to play an integral role in developing, driving and supporting our business goals. The right candidate should have a proven track record of providing leadership and expertise in the application of engineering activities. This position is a new engineer position, and reports to the Accountable Manager. The position works with all levels of employees throughout the organization as necessary and is responsible for direct or indirect supervision of other engineers.

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the engineering staff ensuring they provide the necessary technical support to manufacturing and quality to achieve division objectives.
• Ensure that all manufacturing special processes and tooling conform to customer, organizational, and governmental standards.
• Direct the development of new manufacturing processes and the revision of existing processes to facilitate the improved manufacturing of parts.
• Develop, coach and mentor other engineers to ensure the highest level of performance and standards of excellence.
• Manages software control
• Provide evaluation and disposition of discrepant material
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will direct the work of 1-2 employees.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED
• Education Required: A minimum of a four-year technical degree such as a BSIE or BSME or equivalent experience.
• Experience Required: 15 years' experience in manufacturing, business development, program management, production control, and finance is desired. Experience in the aerospace industry is ideal, preferably with most of the experience in a tight tolerance aerospace manufacturing machine shop with gears as its core competency.
• 10 Years of Leadership

• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasional exposure to moderate noise
• The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
