Full Job Description
Process Engineer

Reporting to Plant Manager, Process Engineer will be responsible for leading lean manufacturing initiatives to drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and enhance efficiency and performance. Develop and define KPI's and train associates on them and how they impact them. Develop the process to improve KPI's with those associates.

What you'll do:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Analyze and monitor performance within the Dye Range and Blocking departments to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Train and coach associates on KPIs, continuous improvement practices, and their impact on business performance.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve process, quality, and productivity issues.
  • Evaluate and optimize equipment, materials, workflows, and manufacturing processes to improve performance and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
  • Develop and deliver training programs that strengthen employee capabilities and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, measure results, and communicate performance metrics to leadership.
  • Foster accountability and ownership at all levels of the organization to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring operational KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Spanish language skills are considered an asset.

Additional information:

Salary range for the role: $85,000- $92,000 annually
