Process Engineer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
Required Clearance: Secret

U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material.
  • Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps.
  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
  • Create metrics and reporting frameworks.
  • Conduct process audits and compliance assessments.

Required Skills:

  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Have effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have 3, or more, years of experience in process engineering, or related field.
  • Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Must have experience with process modeling tools.

Desired Skills:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree any STEM related field.
  • Have a Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
