The Role & Your ImpactAs a Process Engineer I, you will support production performance by optimizing process flow, equipment utilization, and product quality. You will serve as a technical resource for manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, troubleshooting issues, and supporting new product and technology introductions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to production operations to ensure reliable product supply, quality, and efficiency.
- Drive process improvements that reduce variation, improve yields, and enhance operational performance.
- Monitor product and process performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for process, equipment, and control system issues.
- Support and sponsor improvement initiatives, technical changes, and capital projects.
- Develop and maintain product and process documentation, including BOMs, PMDs, and related records.
- Transfer new products and technologies from development into manufacturing.
- Support training initiatives and share technical expertise across the organization.
- Lead or participate in local and global cross-functional teams and technical meetings.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical tools, and schedule adherence practices to improve manufacturing performance.
- Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, ownership, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP standards, environmental policies, quality management systems, and corporate safety programs.
What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Interest in process optimization, continuous improvement, and manufacturing technologies.

- Project management or project coordination experience.
- Knowledge of statistical process control tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions- Location: Franklinton, North Carolina
- Work arrangement: On-site
- Requires regular presence in manufacturing and processing areas.
- Must be able to move throughout production areas, climb stairs and ladders, and enter tanks as needed to support operational activities.
- Must possess the visual acuity and physical capability necessary to safely perform job responsibilities.
