Process & Training Associate supports the development, documentation, and implementation of Project Services processes and training programs. This role works under the direction of the Manager of Process & Training to translate cross-functional input into clear, standardized process documentation and to support consistent process adoption across the Project Management organization.
This is a hands-on contributor role responsible for maintaining process documentation, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across process-related data and tools.
The Process & Training Associatewill develop a strong understanding of Nextpower's products, systems, and project execution workflows while contributing to process improvement and PM enablement efforts. This role is designed to develop into a subject matter expert in Project Services processes and training over time.
Key ObjectivesSupport Process & Training Initiatives:Execute assigned documentation, training, and data tracking activities in support of process and training priorities set by the Manager of Process & Training.
Develop and Maintain Process Documentation:Ensure Project Services process documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date by drafting new documents and refining existing procedures based on stakeholder input.
Enable Effective Training Programs:Support development and delivery of training programs, including onboarding and refresher sessions, to ensure Project Managers understand and effectively apply processes.
Ensure Data Accuracy and Process Integrity:Maintain accuracy of key operational data by tracking completed Change Orders (COs) and performing routine validation of Sales Order attributes (e.g., ship-to country/state).
Develop Operational Knowledge:Build a strong understanding of Nextpower products, systems, and project workflows to effectively contribute to process development and support PM teams.
Core ResponsibilitiesProcess Documentation & Development- Draft new process documents based on input from stakeholders and direction from the Manager of Process & Training.
- Update existing documents for clarity, accuracy, and usability.
- Complete Document Change Orders within PLM systems and maintain document repositories.
- Support consistency of documentation across all Project Services lifecycle stages.
Cross-Functional Coordination- Gather and synthesize inputs to support process development led by the Manager of Process & Training.
- Translate operational feedback into structured documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Training Support & Delivery- Support development of training materials (presentations, guides, and examples).
- Help coordinate training logistics, scheduling, and communications.
- Assist in co-delivering training sessions including new-hire onboarding and Project Manager refresher training under the guidance of the Manager of Process & Training.
- Reinforce process understanding through direct interaction with PMs.
Data Tracking & Validation- Analyze completed Change Order (CO) data to capture finalized outcomes.
- Maintain structured tracking of CO data in Excel.
- Perform monthly validation of Sales Order ship-to country and state data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Additional Responsibilities- Develop and maintain an understanding of NX Trackers, Services, Software, and associated Tools.
- Develop familiarity with Nextpower business practices, values, and policies.
- Provide a strong internal customer experience to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Support execution of initiatives and tasks assigned by the Manager of Process & Training.
- Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications- 3-7 years of experience in process development, documentation, training, or operations roles.
- Strong ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and translate into structured processes or SOPs.
- Strong writing and documentation skills.
- Comfortable presenting or co-presenting training sessions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience working with Supply Chain and Logistics is a plus.
- Computer proficiency required (Excel required; ERP/PLM systems preferred).
- Occasional travel is required.
