Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
  • Investigate and evaluate causes of complaints and document quality reports
  • Conduct initial evaluations of purchased parts in accordance with automotive standards
  • Oversee defect resolution process with suppliers and Webasto plants
  • Demands and track corrective measures in the context of supplier escalations
  • Plan and execute supplier audits while monitoring improvement actions
  • Engage in supplier evaluation and ongoing development for new and existing products

Full Job Description
Problem Solving Expert

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
  • Contact person and interface for our customers/suppliers in all quality matters, especially in case of technical complaints
  • Identification and evaluation of the causes of customer/supplier complaints and recording of quality reports with the aim of initiating, implementing, and monitoring corrective measures in the event of quality defects
  • Initial sampling of purchased parts from Webasto plants according to automotive standards
  • Initiation of measures in case of defects on purchased parts, including the technical supervision of the problem-solving process with the supplier/Webasto plant
  • Demanding and tracking of measures/plan within the scope of a supplier escalation
  • Planning and execution of supplier audits, as well as monitoring of the measures taken
  • Participation in supplier selection and development on the occasion of the introduction of new and support of current products and product series


This is what you bring to us:
  • Successfully completed engineering degree or alternatively vocational training with further training as a master craftsman/technician
  • Professional experience in the technical field - ideally in Process Management, Production Technologies, or Quality
  • Team and communication skills, as well as assertiveness
  • Mastery of automotive core tools (QVP/RGA, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PLP, PPAP/PPF, 8D)
  • Knowledge of production metrology, statistics, and product liability
  • Auditor training according to VDA 6.3 desirable
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
