he Private Client Service Senior Tax Manager role requires the oversight of multiple client service teams and the proven ability to plan, direct, execute and complete tax consulting projects and compliance efforts across a variety of engagements.
Responsibilities include:- Will economically and efficiently manage projects including billing and accounts receivable responsibilities
- Conduct technical review of federal and state income tax returns for individual, fiduciary, partnership, and S corp. clients, along with review of gift tax filings
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients
- Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed
- Manage, develop, and mentor staff/managers on projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and informal feedback
- Maintain an active presence in the market to drive growth and attract new clients
Qualifications:- BS in Accounting preferred, Masters in Taxation is a plus
- CPA required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend
- Working with the tax team to identify and resolve client issues
- Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise
- Proven success in engagement and client management, with a track record of growing and sustaining client relationships
- Possess effective writing, communication and tax research skills
- Strong technical expertise in federal taxation of individuals, trusts, and investment entities. Estate and gift tax experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership and mentorship experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $127,700.00 - $269,300.00 per year.This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Candidates who are not within commuting distance of a Crowe office may be considered for a remote work arrangement, subject to business needs.
