THE OPPORTUNITY

The Private Client Services Manager is an exempt position responsible for managing all facets of affluent consumer and business client relationships while delivering an exceptional end-to-end client experience that supports relationship deepening and client retention. This role partners closely with Private Banking Relationship Managers and their clients to provide best-in-class service, fulfillment, and coordination with internal business partners.

The position performs a broad range of operational and client service functions, including onboarding new deposit accounts and serving as a subject matter expert in treasury management products and services for consumer and business clients with varying levels of complexity. The Private Banking Services Manager handles incoming client and business partner inquiries via phone and email, resolves account-related issues, and ensures transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

The incumbent consistently exercises sound judgment and decision-making when responding to inquiries, approvals, and service requests. All responsibilities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The role demonstrates risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation of issues, and strict adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, supporting a strong control environment and positive client outcomes. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Manages all facets of the New Accounts function, including opening new accounts, account supersedes, ordering checks, account maintenance, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships through the recommendation of appropriate banking products and services.
  • Delivers a high-touch client experience by proactively identifying client needs, providing tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted resource for affluent consumer and business clients.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with clients, Private Banking Relationship Managers, internal business partners, and frontline staff to ensure seamless service delivery and timely issue resolution.
  • Completes Treasury Management setup documentation and serves as a subject matter expert on Treasury Management products and services, supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing client servicing.
  • Ensures all new account and servicing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
  • Prepares, reviews, and maintains account documentation in accordance with the Bank's CIP, BSA/AML, OFAC, and other applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Processes transactions and wire transfer requests within assigned authority limits while exercising sound judgment and maintaining strong risk controls.
  • Performs daily operational and account servicing activities, including account maintenance, transaction review, reconciliation, exception processing, fraud monitoring, research requests, stop payments, debit card maintenance, mobile deposit administration, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) support, and other routine and complex servicing functions.
  • Researches and resolves client inquiries with precision and timeliness, account discrepancies, and operational issues by applying sound judgment, established procedures, and independent decision-making.
  • Coordinates directly with clients and internal departments to facilitate requests, resolve issues, and ensure accurate and timely completion of all servicing activities.
  • Collaborates with Legal, Compliance, BSA/AML, Operations, and other internal business partners to support complex client needs, unique account structures, and specialized Treasury Management solutions.
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and confidentiality while fostering trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Adheres to all bank policies, procedures, service-level standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Experience in complying with Know Your Customer/Customer Identification Programs.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling.
  • Manage, support, coach and train employees.
  • Follow all established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5 years of new accounts and 5 years banking, including demonstrated ability to work with an affluent client base.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate's degree or higher is preferred
  • Extensive Treasury Management product knowledge and including full command of bank services, products, and internal systems is required
  • Mastery of all key branch systems; basic end-user knowledge of Word and Excel is required
  • Draws on broad experience to effectively handle multiple functions at the same time is required
  • Displays depth of regulatory requirements and risk controls; ability to manage increased complexity of staff or client relationship management, depending on branch size; review and be knowledgeable of departmental and human resource's policies & procedures is required
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
