JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties: Advise families on building, preserving, and managing wealth. Use knowledge of investments, financial planning, credit, and banking to advise current clients on all aspects of their balance sheet and generate new client acquisition. Maintain relationships with clients by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Generate business results and acquire new assets from existing client base and new client acquisition. Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs. Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when needed. Connect clients across all lines of business. Ensure that proposed solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term through a holistic goals-based planning approach. Focus on the client's experience and work tirelessly on the client's behalf. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for client and prospect meetings, conferences, and networking events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Private Banker, Equity Trading, Equity Derivatives Sales Trading, Research Equity Sales, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Developing relationships by understanding client needs, providing targeted investment solutions, and educating clients on investment related topics such as equity markets; Prospecting individuals to generate business results and new client acquisition; Advising clients on asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, liquidity solutions, and leverage; Analyzing investment portfolios and financial instruments such as equities, bonds, and alternative investments; Preparing performance summaries on investments and portfolios using Excel and PowerPoint; Reviewing investment ideas for clients; Analyzing excel data to determine portfolio adjustments; Trading of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, and Foreign Exchange; Organizing and interpreting a client relationship management system to increase client engagement and activity; Building and analyzing interactive data sets in excel to present internally and externally to clients; Recommending changes to current portfolio construction; Pitching of investment ideas such as single stock equities, options, and bonds.  This position requires the following license(s): Finra Series S7TO, 66, SIE, Clean FINRA U4.

Job Location: 201 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for client and prospect meetings, conferences, and networking events.
