What You Will Do

  • Lead an Agile Scrum team as Product Owner for Sentinel Radar Product Line
  • Participate in quarterly increment planning by understanding the work capacity of your team and selecting Features from the Sentinel backlog.
  • Groom the backlog for the team by breaking Features into stories and establishing effective scope definitions, including clear acceptance criteria for team products and services.
  • Plan sprints
  • Own responsibility for the cost and schedule of the features taken for the team
  • Approve completion of each story to ensure that it meets acceptance criteria
  • Communicate with the stakeholders for clarification and direction
  • “Sell off” the team’s product to the stakeholders
  • Ensure that the agile teams follow established processes and agile methodologies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires aBachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in a technical leadership position.
  • Experience with Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with system requirements and test
  • Experience in radar or RF systems engineering

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
  • Experience with agile management and engineering tools Jira and Confluence.
  • SAFe Product Owner certification or related industry certification.
  • Knowledge in radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration, test and verification
  • Experience managing a task within cost and schedule
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirementsand competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience as a Systems Engineer including some of the following: design; modeling, simulation, or performance analysis; HW/ SW integration and test.
  • Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Road mapping team progress and backlog management
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
